I am a visual artist and photographer based in Delhi, India. My inclination towards photography began as a form of self-expression, but over time, it has grown into a way of questioning the structures, systems, and the place of the self in it.
My practice moves along photography, video, text, performance, and bookmaking. I often combine real stories I encounter with elements of fiction, creating layered experiences that reflect the human condition while invoking broader historical and regional contexts. Through this interplay of media and perspectives, I explore how memory, identity, and place are shaped by both lived reality and constructed narrative. I pursued a master's in Photography Design at the National Institute of Design and undertook a semester exchange at Hochschule Hannover, focusing on Visual Journalism and Documentary Photography. During this period, I developed a deep interest in cultural anthropology, migration, decoloniality, and dissent.
My work has been recognized by the Toto Funds the Arts, British University International Students Film Festival, Festival Angaelica, The Annual Design Show at the National Institute of Design, Auf den Spuren von (Visual Journalism Magazine-Germany), and CNNNews18.
